Edit: It's not working. The picture just converts into the shape instead of being cut into the shape.... Still need help.

You guys have to find a way to salvage the pixel trace tool!
Just recently I waited over 30 minutes on a very good laptop to pixel trace a relatively small PNG image. nothing would happen. I had 3 different designs running and I had to crash Inkscape and all of them to get back to them. Luckily I had saved... But had I not saved it would have ruined my day. C...
