I'm building a little project where i will let download icons for free and i was wondering if someone here could give me inspiration.

You could refer to other peoples icon sets as guide for which icons people are interested in. I recommend http://www.mezzoblue.com/icons/chalkwork/ and http://www.famfamfam.com/

Are there any Inkscape icons you'd want to improve/modify?

@ Bob: I wasn't looking for feedback here. I was just curious to know what kind of icons inkscapers like, so i could focus more on something useful instead of just refine my skills as i always do.

Not those specific ones. Inkscape has it's own custom set. But there is a lot of overlap in the functionality those icons represent--so some may be very similar.
