I had Inkscape 48.2, yesterday it just decided it didnt want to open. I get the following error message. "The application was unable to start correctly, (error code number), click ok to close the application." I am running windows 7 64 bit, I have not done anything new to my computer. I uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled, reinstalled an older version... still can't open. Does anyone have a clue to what is going on with this? This has happened before, and I just waited it out, but I cant wait it out this time.

OH! I didn't realize 0.48.2 stable had been released.

So you're saying that even with an older version reinstalled, you still can't open the older version? Would you please post that version and the error code that's displayed when you try to open that version? (Or corresponding error code for 0.48.2)

I've used Inkscape on my daughter's PC for years but her PC is fried. I downloaded it on my Mac and every time I try to open it, it says, "The application X11 quit unexpectedly." It will not open.

HELP!! (But you must speak to me in basic terms as I am not technologically savvy at all, please.)
