Hello. This is my first post. I can't draw, so I do line art. My pencil artist is amazing, so feel free to praise him. This is my current work in progress, Victor.

Critisizm, feedback, tips, whatever. I don't know if I'm going to finish it, it's just concept art.

That's nice work with the calligraphy tool.

I don't have any real criticism, but if you had to force one out of me, I might suggest thickening the lines a little more ( makes that easy). Or at least try it--it may look worse.

Nice. I recently tried a bit of line art and found the "stroke to path" a life saver. I drew around the object with the regular path tool, curved the lines appropriately and then applied stroke to path. It makes it easy to taper lines, make certain parts thicker etc. Haven't used the – that might make the same idea easy too.

Ah, I've used the same method for most of my past work. Definitely give a try. On the previous line work I did I rapidly draw all the lines with then used to give the lines the desired variation of thickness and taper.

Good work indeed, but I think that all lines look too similar (as everybody just said already). May be you should try to vary their thickness…For example different thickness for cloak and the body…
In addition, the gradient of the "nose" is not so good looking, because the style of all picture is lines, and then suddenly you see something…hmm… solid and shaded…

I agree. You could change the lines up a bit, but other than that it looks pretty sweet.

I did this from scratch without my pencil artist. It's supposed to be cartoony, but didn't turn out as well as I would of liked... meh. I do like how the letters look.

u said that u can't draw ... so what will u do if u can draw ? ,these drawings are perfectly proportions

I love the pencil art - how about applying some randomness to the inkscaped produc, to give it back the grittyness of the original?
